Affordable Web Videos is a web video production and syndication company. My name is Dannah, I’m an online video consultant and I run the video division of Proven Internet Solutions. I’ve lived in the Portland/Gresham Oregon area my whole life (ok minus the 2 years I lived in Seattle).
My husband and I have had a small automotive business here in Portland for about 20 years. About 10 years ago we realized we needed a “web presence”. Up to that point we were spending several hundred dollars each month for advertising (sound familiar?).
After we got our website up and running (with the help of a friend) we realized that just having a website wasn’t enough to bring in new customers(we couldn’t even find our own website).
At this point we started learning as much as we could about search engine optimization. Over the past years we have spent thousands of dollars getting it figured out. What works and what doesn’t. Sad to say we paid a bundle to advertise in some local yellow phone books (12 month contracts). This was one of the “doesn’t work” methods. We got maybe 3 calls for the whole year advertising that way. Unfortunately we were in a 12 month contract and unless we wanted to be sent to collections we couldn’t get out of it. Well, live and learn as the saying goes.
And we did we learned and learned and learned. Some of the things we learned like video had a HUGE learning curve. Others were a bit faster to learn but still quite time intensive to apply.
After we applied it all to our website and got a few page one positions on Google. We realized…WE GOT IT!!! We were getting and still are getting dozens of calls a week for our automotive business.
For sometime after this just in conversation with several of our friends that have businesses too. The topic of their websites would come up. They were in the same position we were several years prior. We would give them some tips and suggestions for their websites specific traffic techniques and “BAM” they finally made it to the first page.
After helping our friends they would tell there friends about how we helped them. To make a long story short this is how our business Proven Internet Solutions was born.
We chose this name because every one of our methods is proven to increase page rank, and solves the problems associated with driving traffic to websites. Our techniques are all white hat, and not PPC (PPC has it’s place but it isn’t a necessity for most businesses)
It has taken us years to become experts in SEO and traffic generation. It doesn’t have to take you years to get page one rank, links to your website, web traffic, and more customers. That is if you’ll let us help.
